DescriptionGood thing that I2P doesnt run by default with root privileges, but there is another issue:
root@user:/home/user# i2prouter start
Running I2P as the root user is *not* recommended.
Please edit /etc/default/i2p and set the variable RUN_AS_USER.
To run as root anyway, edit /etc/default/i2p and set ALLOW_ROOT=true.
root@user:/home/user#
-
There is no line ALLOW_ROOT=true
-
add the line wont have any effect
and i suggest to not even give a solution to run I2P as root. but if so, then its even not working.
so either delete/change the message or disable the ability to run I2P as root permanently.
